Congratulations to Mr.Daniel Wietcha!
Daniel Wietecha was selected by the Oklahoma-Arkansas Section of the Mathematical Association of America as an Outstanding Teacher of the Year for the state of Arkansas for 2014. Each year the Oklahoma-Arkansas Section selects six mathematics teachers, three from Arkansas and three from Oklahoma, for this honor. Mr. Wietecha was selected as the secondary teacher of the year.
EFFORT is the character word for April.
Definition: The total work done to achieve a particular end.
Amelia Earhart once said, “It is easier to start something than it is to finish it.” This is important for us to remember as we finish our school year. It is important to do our best work all day every day.
KINDERGARTEN and PRE-K enrollment packets for 2014-2015 are available at the school and on our website under the Parents tab.
We are very proud of the care and concern Nurse Wendy has for the children at our school. She is a valuable asset not only to our students, but also to our parents and staff.
School Nurse Wendy Catron was recognized by the Gravette school board. At a recent assembly at Glenn Duffy Elementary, board president Danny Alsup presented to Nurse Wendy a certificate for her "outstanding performance and exceptional commitment to the staff and students of the Gravette School District".
Congratulations to our GMS Honor Roll Students!
